𝘪𝘵   𝘸𝘢𝘴   𝘢   𝘣𝘶𝘴𝘺   𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨   and   charlie   already   felt   like   a   chicken   without   a   head.   so   many   requests,   so   little   staff   to   deal   with   things   !   her   and   vaggie   were   doing   their   best,   but   it   was   obvious   that   the   princess   was   getting   a   bit   worn   down.

𝘢𝘴   𝘴𝘩𝘦   𝘸𝘢𝘴   𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨   𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥   back   and   forth,   she   notices   a   certain   cat   slumbering   at   the   bar.   a   smile   widens   on   her   expression   as   she   approaches   the   sleeping   sinner.   a   long   finger   lightly   pokes   the   bar   tender's   head.   ❝ umm...   good   morning,   husk   !   ❞ she   calls   out   to   @huskker   .   once   she   doesn't   get   a   reaction,   charlie   then   taps   on   the   bar.

        𝐒𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐂𝐄  :    red ,     white ,    &     royal  blue   /   𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐒  :    closed .

angel    𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬  𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐨  𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞  𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬     for  a  few  beats ;    half -  surprised     to  hear  them  at  all ,     and     half -  surprised     to  hear  them  from     𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔  𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄  𝒎𝒂𝒏  .     both  sentiments  elicit     𝑔𝑖𝑔𝑔𝑙𝑒𝑠  𝑎𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑑  ℎ𝑖𝑠  𝑐𝑖𝑔𝑎𝑟  ,     which  a  dainty  hand  plucks  from  its  perch  between  soft ,     immaculately  glossed  lips .     𝐚  𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐫  𝐨𝐟  𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲  𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐤     circles  the  head ,     a  silent  testament  to  angel’s  tendency  to  leave  his  mark     𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄  ,     perhaps  especially  when  he     isn’t  trying .   

            “     look  who’s  talkin’  ,     baby  :     the     𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒊𝒆𝒔𝒕  𝒈𝒖𝒚  𝒊  𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘  ,    ”     he  replies ,     tone     𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧     &     𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗙𝗨𝗟  ,     despite  how  astutely  he  registers  the     𝐰𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭     of  the  request .     some  may  think  angel     gives  himself  freely     to  any  man  who  can     𝐩𝐚𝐲  𝐡𝐢𝐬  𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐭  𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞  ,     but  it  seems  that  husk     knows  the  truth  ;     that  no  matter     how  desperately     a  man  may  desire  him ,     no  matter  how  innocently  someone  may  wish  to     𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘  𝒉𝒊𝒎  ,     they’ll  never  get  the  chance .     like  the  sugar -  pink  smoke  swirling  around  them ,     angel  is     𝗘𝗟𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗩𝗘  ,     𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗟𝗘  𝗧𝗢  𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗗  ,     easy  to  touch  but     too  ethereal  to  feel . 

           it’s  a    𝑚𝑎𝑡𝑡𝑒𝑟  𝑜𝑓  𝑠𝑒𝑙𝑓  -  𝑝𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑣𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛  ;     if  he  ever    gave  away     anything  that  actually  holds  substance ,     𝗔𝗡𝗬𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚  𝗠𝗘𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗙𝗨𝗟  ,     he’d  be  too  vulnerable ,     𝐚  𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭  𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡  𝐧𝐨  𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞  .     he’s     𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈  -  𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒆  𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒅     that  most  people  cannot  hold  him  without     bruising  him   in  some  way ;     and  that  if  he     so  carelessly    lets  them     𝑡𝑜𝑜  𝑐𝑙𝑜𝑠𝑒  ,     maybe  he    𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐄𝐒  𝐈𝐓  .

            “     thea’  prob’ly  ain’t     𝒂𝒔  𝒎𝒖𝒄𝒉  ’𝒂  𝒎𝒆     as  ya  think  ,     big  guy  ,    ”    says  angel ,     voice  still    round  with  jest ,   but     𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠  𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭  𝐬𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐥𝐲  ;     a  hint  of  sobriety .    “     maybe  thea’  ain’t  much  at  all  .     but  i  gotta     𝗕𝗘𝗟𝗢𝗡𝗚  𝗧𝗔’  𝗠𝗘     befoa’  i  go  givin’     𝑎𝑛𝑦𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛’     ta’  anyone  else  .     an’  well     [     .  .  .     ]     we  both  know  whea’  i’m  at  as  far  ’s     𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕  𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒕     goes  .    ”

📚 + 6 & 7 !

Wishlist:

6.) Something angsty - I do enjoy writing it! Whether it's his own or the cause of said dramas also. Some more heavier plots would be fun, I think, if there are those willing to dive into the deep end with me!

7.) Something violent - Now here we go! I am a horror fan, first and foremost, and I am absolutely taking any chance I get to dive into that side of my Alastor. I love unhinged horror and there is not much that is going to phase me when writing it. (I just wrote up a drabble just yesterday in fact xD) Both angst and violence can go hand in hand too.
