Cook: (sandwiches)
“Celine, I’m hungry...” complained the hybrid as the two were walking along the path for about an hour now.
Celine laughed at her companion. “We just ate breakfast and you’re already hungry?”
“I’m starving!” Husky whined, tail falling and ears turned down. He looked quiet pitiable and gave Celine the best puppy dog face he could muster.
“Alright, but only something small okay?” Celine said with a small smile. “We’ll make some sandwiches!”
Husky moved his head to the side in confusion. What were sandwiches? Well, as long as they were food he doubted he would care. She pointed to a spot they could rest at for the moment while they were to make the sandwiches.
“Okay, since we’re traveling I couldn’t bring meat or anything, but I do have peanut butter and jelly okay?” She wondered if he even knew about peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
“Sounds good to me.....How do you make them?” Yup, she had guess right.
“It’s easy hold on.” she conjured about a table of sorts so that they would have something to prepare the sandwiches on. She would have to remember from now to make some before they left on a journey to save time. “This is how you make a sandwich.” Celine showed Husky each step one by one and hoped the hybrid would be able to hand it. “See?”
“That looks easy!” Husky said with a grin. “My turn!”
He proceeded to smear the jelly on one side of the bread and the peanut butter on the other. Yet, somehow he managed to smush the sandwich together with holes on either side and had both the jelly and peanut butter everywhere. It was in his hair and hands of course, but he somehow managed to get some on his tail too.
“Celine....I think I need a bath,” he said through mouthfuls of the sandwich. “At least it’s yummy!” He was having some issues with the peanut butter sticking to the roof of his mouth, but otherwise enjoyed the sandwich as he smiled at Celine.
