We bought some @husqvarnaca 580bts mark 2 leaf blowers to replace our @stihlcanada br700, wanted to try the power of the newer blowers. Anyway had the stihl’s for 3 years, never had any real issues except the valve adjustments. Bought the blowers from EJ mower in calgary middle of December and within 2 weeks fuel lines split on both blowers! Is this a known issue in the cold weather, are they not recommended for snow removal and should I return to @stihlcanada. I am guessing @stihlcanada don’t have issues with their lines because they are enclosed in the blower casing, whee as the @husqvarnaca is open to the elements. Ps I understand these are primarily designed for leaf/grass work but they are commonly used for snow removal in Calgary (I am sure in other places) and offer advertised to do both jobs, so if this is an on going issue, then it certainly simplifies the decision making of what to buy next.
