ANNOTATION: My diploma thesis UN-BE-LIE-VA-BLE Phantasmagoria is motivated by the conspiracy theory phenomena and by idea: how to work with its imagery. The theoretical part focuses on my research on visual culture characteristic for conspiracy theories in alternative media and on the Internet. It covers the whole process of historical development in that matter up to the present. In the practical element of my project I acknowledged the idea if all the statements were true. The series consists of seven large illustrated acrylic paintings on advertising banners. We live in a world of post-truth ideology and this work aims to explore the dark side of rational thoughts.
