Leaving Missouri just after Independence Day, Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes headed to California with full knowledge that they would need a place to bed down during the winter when snow closed the mountain passes in the Rocky and Sierra Nevada ranges. A town called Timely seemed like as good a place as any, especially when the town’s sheriff, Sam Wilson, needed help defending Timely from a gang led by a German immigrant farmer named Johann Schmidt.

Summary:
When the Hydra gang attacked Timely, Bucky declared it was time to rid the town of the outlaws for good. With a posse led by Sheriff Wilson and a chip the size of a boulder on his shoulder, Bucky swaggered into Hydra’s lair and dispatched of the gang without breaking a sweat. Steve had never seen anything so impressive. Then again, he was always impressed with Bucky.
