- grimdark post-apocalyptic world that seems like it was created by a D20, but somehow works

- rivals Jojo in bizarreness

- gore and bodyhorror

- boobs

- ambiguously gendered people

- somehow every character is likeable (except Hole-kun)

- everyone is a murderer

- no matter how gruesome looking a character is, there is always potential for adorableness

- almost everyone wears a mask (very inspirational in these times)
