None of you people understand the actual reality of how much the ultra-rich hoard. Aoc is not even a blip on the radar of rich. Aoc grew up poor in the bronx and continued to work as a bartender while she was on the campaing trail.

Is she wealthier than the average person? Yeah. No shit sherlock. But does she qualify…as RICH?? My fam…my guy….my bud…..the answer is simply No.

Aoc wants to tax the 1%. The people who can afford to buy space programs, influence elections and send countries to war.

Also, one of Ocasio-Cortez’s big things is buying from artists/fashion designers who are involved in their community and actively promote culture that is often left behind in fast fashion (like when y'all slammed her for that bag). Additionally, she didn’t pay for the ticket or the dress. The designer made the dress, bought the ticket, and invited her to attend wearing the dress. The met gala is basically an event where celebrities become billboards for designers. AOC showed up to an event full of filthy rich people wearing a dress by an activist designer that says “tax the rich” on it.

AOC is not rich. Her salary is 175,000 a year. That’s literally upper middle class.

For another group of badasses from the Warhammer 40k universe, we have the sisters of silence. Who crew the dreaded Black Ships of the Imperium which capture unsanctioned Psyker’s bringing them back to Terra for processing either as sacrifice to the Emperor to sustain him or to be trained as Psykers for the military.

Basically what makes them rather awesome imo is the fact that they are all part of a genetic subset of humans that are ‘Psychic Nulls’, they cast no presence in the Warp or Immaterium something that is very unusual in Warhammer. One of the main effects this has is in Psykers is the mere presence of a Sister of Silence cause them discomfort and pain. Though this Null Gene also causes fear and suspicion in those without it on a subconscious level due to the ‘wrongness’ of being a Psychic Blank.

This also extends to Xenos as apparently the unsettling effect they have has even unnerved the brutal savagery of rampaging Orks. And to the Eldar who are all super psychically attuned, their presence is basically the thing of an existential horror.

Though this also gives them a big advantage since due to being Blanks they are almost impossible for the warp to affect. They can’t be possessed, warp generated illusions don’t work. And even direct attacks with Psychic Energy in the form of fire or telekinetics can be lessened or outright negated due to their presence.

They can even train this ability further to actively disrupt the Warp.

I just find them a rather cool idea, since they are basically the Anti-Psyker. And usually in fantasy Wizards are countered by Wizards rather than an Anti-Wizard. So people that are literally the wizards worst nightmare is a cool concept. I think some universes I’ve read about have done an ‘Anti-Wizard’ but its not super common at least from what I’ve read.

This is a super funny Christmas-y show they did in February, and that’s only the first joke. I don’t think they’re all in good taste, and the main character is much worse than simply a jerk, but I still have fun with most of the plot twists. Plus Todoroki is a wonderful jerk, Marin is sooo cute, and with her role, Makise made the place she’d already had in my heart a definite one. Gosh, I need more from her! Give me a lead already!

You should notice this isn’t really a musical, we have one song in the beginning and they compensate it with a small Christmas song revue in the end, but the play is really just a play.

A more important warning, the subs are synced to a Sky Stage video, so the timing might not work for your copy. Because every copy should be from the same presentation, you’ll just need to push the subs a little back or forward.  Most players will do it on the go, but sites like subtitletools dot com can also help you save the retimed file too.
