“Miss Sterling!” Clover said, trying to look as friendly as possible. He knew she was unhappy with her situation, to put it mildly. No reason to make it worse. “I know you don’t like it, but you need rest and monitoring to make sure you’re going to be okay. We still aren’t sure if the implant is going to take properly, and if your body starts to reject it outside of our facilities, we don’t know what’ll happen to you. We just want to make sure you’re okay, Libra. We’re not the bad guys.”
He had his arms up in as non-threatening a position as he could muster. Hard, of course, when you’re the leader of the Ace Ops. He knew he had a reputation, but he hoped that she would see that he didn’t mean any harm.
“Let’s just head back to the hospital, Libra. We’re really just trying to help.”
He had orders to bring her back by any means - Ironwood wanted to talk with her, and though he didn’t know what about, he trusted that it was important if he was ordered to bring Libra in. Atlas had spend a lot of Lien making sure she survived. It had to be for a reason.
