continued from here!
It was more than inconvenient that there was a thunderstorm outsides tonight. She hated the dark and the loud noise of thunder paired with the dangerous looking lighting. After all these years her fear got better, but she still couldn’t manage to fight it despite her tries. And as if one bad thing happening wasn’t enough, the light of her apartment building decided to disappear, leaving the two females in the dark. By now the American was more than glad that Soojin was by her side.
Upon hearing the other idol’s question Sophie immediately stopped in her tracks, eyes wide as she listened to their surroundings carefully. Did she hear something weird? Was there a noise that wasn’t supposed to be here? Was there a murderer coming for them? And while her brain thought of various, unlikely scenarios, she didn’t pay attention to the small footsteps of her pomeranian in the other room that had caused the current fear that dwelled up in her. “ Oh no, what if we’re going to die now? I watched so many horror movies, I didn’t want to believe this but it’s obvious, we’re going to die tonight ! Oh my, what to do… ”
There was a time when Soojin loved thunderstorms. When she was still a trainee, and the endless nights leading up to her debut, if there was a storm outside a part of her would be itching to go outside and feel the rain. It was strange, to say the least. She was a little strange back then, with all that crazy training. Nowadays she payed no mind to them. Perhaps that was what came with a stable career and freedom from her schedule.
She sounded cool that way. But the lights switching off was unexpected, and along with being in a home that wasn’t hers Soojin could swear she heard something. “Did you hear that?” A scratching... or tapping sound. Whatever it was, it made her slightly uneasy and the other idol seemed to be feeling the same. “I can’t die yet. I have an important commercial tomorrow.” Soojin nodded to herself, and forced her body off the couch. However as she did so, the reality hit. “But what if... Going towards the danger, and us separating, is what kills us?” She too had seen countless horror movies. Soojin bit her lip, turned to Sophie and held out her hand. There was another rumble of thunder. “Come with me. We can face this together.”
