“This place does not have enough fucking distractions and there’s like seven bars.”
Vita had taken the portkey to Frankfurt, hoping to separate herself from those on the ship and drink her thoughts away. Round after round, she continued to swallow down the liquor until she felt numb. “Get me another one of. . .whatever the hell I’m drinking right now,” she slurred to the bartender who gave her a weary looked then obliged, sliding the glass over to her.
“Someone point me to the food, this sophomore is starving.”
“Listen, mate. It’s a free country. If I wanna smoke, then I damn well am gonna smoke. If it bothers you so much, feel free to piss off back to wherever the hell you came from.”
Tyler sighed, running a hand down his face as he peeked out of his bedroom, looking around to see if anyone was hanging around the kitchen. He hadn’t been getting much alone time since he got out of the hospital, someone always feeling the need to watch him or offer to get something for him. He knew if Rosie was around, she’d usher him back to bed or try and get him to eat, but truthfully, he just wanted something to take his mind off things. He carefully stepped out of his room and padded across the floor to the fridge, opening it to grab himself some beer from out of the fridge.
“Hi baby, hi there. Did you have a good nap hmm? Did you have a good nap, Henry?” Alexis cooed, smiling at the tiny baby in her arms.
“Being arrested was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but it wasn’t nearly as exciting as the movies led me to believe.”
