“Jewel! Skye! I almost thought you guys weren’t gunna make it! Welcome!“

It is her attitude that has Genji truly take notice of her. An anger hidden under the surface that is all too familiar to him. (Her reasons remain her own. He is not one to pry behind the backs of others. The hassle and possible drama not worth it.) It is not how he wishes to bond with anyone, to approach purely out of such a negative kind of kinship. Yet he doesn't let that deter him in his approach. Calm, friendly.
“You look like you could use some company.”
Koma barely hesitated, as he walked up the long walkway towards the large castle his family called home. Even though he held his shoulders high, and had his usual air of confidence about him, he was actually quite nervous.
He paused in front of the front doors, and held onto Skye’s hand tightly, before he turned towards her. He opened his mouth to say something to her... but before he could, the doors burst open, and a woman stood there with a smug smirk across her painted red lips. Her expression softened, and she stepped forward to pull Koma in for a hug.
“Koma! I was starting to wonder what was taking you so long!” She pulled back, and turned to look at Skye with a gentler smile. Almost immediately, she stepped away from him, and gave Skye a hug as well, “And hello to you too, Skye.”
Koma watched his Mom turned around, and start back into the castle. She paused and looked over her shoulder, “There is a fresh pot of coffee on. Would you both care to sit down for a minute, or would you prefer to go straight upstairs?”
Koma knew what she meant by going straight upstairs... he shook his head gently, and turned to Skye, “Which would you prefer?”

"Miss Niki please let me know if there is anything Rai or myself can do to help. I'd be glad to offer whatever I can to help Aura." (from hxalinghands)
“Oh Skye… you and Rai don’t have to do anything. Just showing your support is more than enough. This is just one of those things that happens, and it’s no one’s fault, nor is there anything we can really do about it, but be there for them.”

Level 5 Laboratory
Callista looked over at the audino who was just now waking up, finishing up her prep work for the beginning experiments. The new injection they were working on was intended to increase a gijinka’s physical capabilities as well as increase the effectiveness of their moves while in their human form. The injection part was easy but the only way they’d seen any results was through extreme stress testing. She wondered if this petite audino would be up to the challenge.
Checking In
“Skye? Are you here?” Rai called out as she walked into the familiar clearing, “I came back to see how you were doing.”
Rai slowly stepped further into the grass, adjusting her medicine bag. It had been two months since she had first met and befriended the Audino. Skye hadn’t told her how she’d been injured back then and Rai hadn’t pushed it, not wanting to scare her new friend away.
Not too far behind the young healer, and unnoticed so far were three men in red and brown uniforms, with gray half masks covering the lower parts of their faces. They watched her as she entered the clearing, waiting.

@hxalinghands:
She tapped her fingers against the table, trying to steady her breathing and focus on Koma’s presence. She needed to tell him, it was important. Archer had been furious about losing her.
“I know, but it’s…important. The man I’m worried about is still out there. And he is capable of a great many things.”
Koma looked at her with a worried expression, “A man? Skye... if someone’s threatening you... please let me know?” He turned to face her, “Whoever this man is, we’ve got Midori and our Team, and the whole Force to back us up. You’re safe...”

“Well as it happens I like everything about you. Cheesiness included.”
She shivered as he whispered into her ear, blush quickly spreading across her cheeks. “As much as I’d love to sit here and listen to you more, I think I’d like to go somewhere a little more private.”
Koma eagerly grinned, and held her closer, “That can be arranged.”
Quite easily in fact. Without hesitation, he quickly teleported both of them. In a flash of white light, the area surrounding them faded, and in it’s place, a country-cottage styled living room appeared.
He reluctantly stepped back, pulling back to about arms-length from her, and gave her a soft, sultry grin. He reached up to brush her hair back - purposely letting his hand linger on her shoulder longer than he had too, “Did you want anything to drink? Wine? Water? Or, would you like to sit down?”
Or would you like me to take you straight upstairs. He added mentally.
