The fate paused for a moment, clicking his tongue in thought.  What was the worst that could happen?

“I see no problem with it.  Proceed.”

She’s a sobbing, pitiful mess. If she didn’t maliciously corner and stab and frighten that poor girl with her friends, she could have been deemed innocent. Innocence and purity matched the white dress and daffodil flower crown and rosy cheeks. They were the traditional garb for the night’s sacrifice. The white hues declared the irony behind their act of violence and gore.

Too bad all their sacred ritual had to be ruined by the cops. When they had the girl bruised and battered by the chain link fence, they were surrounded by red and blue flashing lights. There must have been some sort of tip-off. Someone had been watching. Guns were pointed and fired. Roxie remembered ducking to the ground and squeezing her eyes shut before she was pulled up by some hulking cop and placed in handcuffs. She didn’t see what happened to Peter or Jack or Milo or Alissa. J a c k, dear Jack, her most bonny companion of all, was dead. But how?? 

“Who shot him?? Did one of the pigs do this??”
