“James....” Eden called, trying to find the Enforcer in the house, and finally spotted him on the porch. “There you are. What are you doing? We need to come up with the schedule for next month.”

J: What’s their sense of humour like? Dry. Peter’s not above picking on others to fluff himself up and his sense of humour is often more condescending than anything. Peter’s not a ‘haha’ type, but more an ‘ohhh, I get it’ type.

A: What are/were this character’s best subjects in school? Peter did well in math and sciences, and gym of course. He was a star on the basketball team, so sports and gym were a favourite. Math just came easily to his genius mind, and sciences were something he learned more of at home as well, in order to add to his encyclopedic knowledge.

M: What is their favourite dessert?Cinnamon buns. If it’s flavoured with cinnamon, Peter will eat it. He’s known to bake them and eat the whole pan before anyone else has a chance to even notice he’s done the baking.

E: How are they with children? The responsibility of taking care of the children is what makes Peter so skittish about doing it. Children don’t seem so much like a hassle as they seem like a liability, and people go to jail for neglecting them, even if it’s unintentional.

S: How stealthy are they?Let’s just say that Peter stepped on one of Derek’s LEGO’s once and instead of screaming and waking Derek as he checked on him--Peter’s usual thing to do before bed when they were much younger--Peter swallowed the intense pain and continued, only losing his shit once he got to his own soundproofed bedroom.

Peter didn’t want to return to Beacon Hills, per se. He was drawn back, sure, but the need to be back was long gone from his mind. He knew where everyone was--those important to him, anyway--and Peter didn’t exactly care where those he hated had gone to--Hell, hopefully--but his travels south of the border and resulting year away from Beacon Hills meant that he hadn’t kept in touch.

Nothing about him had changed; not status, or wealth, or physical appearance, but Peter felt lighter somehow. His mind was clearer and he has no feelings of anger or deceit, nor hatred or revenge. Peter wouldn’t say he was a changed man, but he’d made better choices and hadn’t done a single thing to even garner himself attention. Scott’s pack my never even notice that he’d returned.

His father, however, weighed on Peter’s mind as an ally he still wished to keep, and it was to James’ home that Peter drove first upon arriving in town, hoping that the man still lived in the townhome near the Preserve.

It was a rare treat for Kieran to take James out for a meal, both neighbours busy with their daily lives. Scott was bruised and exhausted. He’d beaten back another threat. Even though he had to listen to the lecturefrom James about how Scott should have lethim handle it as an enforcer because the alpha was too important to lose, it was worth it not to see James with these same wounds. “That feels good... You’re gonna put me to sleep.”
