ACOTAR THOUGHTS
Okay y’all. Bear with me here. I’m at Chapter 7 of the audible version of this book. I’m going to keep this SPOILER FREE.
@sarahjmaas has gained a new follower. I’m dancing happily down the path of the fandom, cackling my ass off.
The one thing I like about her writing is the build up over the course of the series. One would think that her writing was not top notch, weak even, if the you left at the first book of her series. I though so briefly while winnowing my way I though ToG. In fact, I had to go Audible to get past the first few chapters. (Sorry, Sarah!). But I’m so glad I did.
Now this series is doing almost the same thing. I was more invested after meeting the Fae before; so I was happy to bypass Feyre and the way I wanted to pop her. And Rysand. And Tamlin. Lucien started with a straight pass just because he was Lucien.
Now, I’ve got to say. Between Maas’ story and Amanda Leigh Cobb’s current narrative, they got me cackling and weak! B*tches are wilding now and I’m here for it.
If you’re on the fence with this series JUMP OFF. Do it. Let it do you.
You won’t be sorry.
