I created a new water chart for work! Upping my goal to 96oz during my work day to ensure I get the proper amount of water. This means changing from three full water bottles (26oz) to four (so technically 104oz altogether). Today is the first day of the goal, but I still charted what I think I remember from the rest of the week. Busy/Working Moms and Dads… Feeling a little tired? Obviously, your busy schedules make it hard to sleep as much as you’d want to. And having kids is just… just… exhausting. I feel your pain. I just wanted a nap… like, every day. And it kept getting worse. I wasn’t feeling well. Something wasn’t right… until I realized. I was dehydrated. Really dehydrated. But I didn’t realize it because I was drinking a lot of fluids… Well, coffee. But not water. Once I realized the dirty truth, I filled my jar full of water several times to get as much water as I could. And I felt a world of difference. I’m more alert. My body feels healthier and stronger. And that means I have more energy to chase kiddos around hustle when they’re asleep. If you’re feeling sluggish, don’t ignore the signs.
