It had been a few months since Anthony Moved into Marc’s house, and if he had to be honest, it took him no time to feel at home in his place. Of course, the both of them had to make some sacrifices in order to live with each other, but he felt that it was all worth it. As long as he got to keep his kitty, and a few other keepsakes, he was content. He and Marc are currently sitting in the living room in comfortable silence, Anthony scrolling on his phone with Peaches in his lap, and Marc reading a book. He can’t help but to think about how much he currently loves his life, how proud he is of himself for coming this far, and the same goes for Marc. He’s proud of him for getting to where he is now despite how shitty his past was. Thinking about it all causes his heart to swell up, a wide grin etching its way onto his face as he puts his phone down, leaning over and burying his face in his boyfriend’s shoulder. Quiet giggles soon escape him suddenly, breaking the silence. He can’t help it, however, he’s just so happy and in love with the other male.
@hydrckinetic + siren dan being rad as fuck
Humans were weird, Dan had worked out. While he’d never fully gotten to see them except when they were on their floating wooden THINGS he had seen them do weird stuff. They didn’t have tails, for one. They had weird arm things that they moved on. The weirdest thing he’d seen was that they didn’t go in the water that often. Where as he had never left it. He came close, sitting in small rock caves where he could dangle his tail into the water and escape if necessary. He had been working up the courage to talk to someone for weeks. His curiosity often was the source of eye rolls back with the others but he didn’t mind. He saw the person he’d seen often wander into the caves and smiled.
“Hi! I’m Dan.”

“Obviously, but why out in the open?”
The blonde raised his brow as his slender fingers toyed with the amulet resting against his chest. Finely manicured nails gently tapping against the gem of the talisman.
“Seem’s pretty fucking reckless to me..”

A Turquoise?
Of all things, Pearl shouldn’t find herself surprised by the presence of this gem; through the millennium she spent on this planet, she should be more than willing to embrace the fact that gems seemed to crop up at peculiar times in peculiar places.
Nonetheless, part of her felt on edge; she couldn’t immediately say she’d known this Turquoise personally- if not for their gem, she may not even be able to recognize the form from where she was perched.
She certainly couldn’t just leave the other be entirely- for all she knew, this Turquoise would be aligned with Homeworld and be stirring trouble- and it’d be better to eliminate that risk as much as possible now rather than later. Materializing a trusty spear, Pearl’s expression morphed into a more assertive one.
“What are you doing here? Who sent you here?”
Nobody ever said Pearl was good at first introductions- or asking things without it coming off awkward and choppy.

The setting sun had started to paint the sky orange earlier already, and Stefan could not help but frown at how much time he spent in the grocery store. By the time he had walked out with arms filled with bags of grocer, the sky had turned dark blue, the stars were appearing, and they became more apparent as the blue turned to almost black.
Unlike the busy parts of the city, his place was quieter and dimmer, and he sighed at the thought of the distance he had to trail while carrying his items. However, his worriment did not last long as his mind turned to the more serious problem after a while when he felt several people following him when he turned around an empty corner.
Four, he sensed, and there where three more up ahead with the same unpleasant intentions. He kept on walking still, until a large, scarred man stopped in front of him with a very alarming smile on his face.
“You’re the bloke from that fancy bookshop near the university, yeah?” The man chuckled, halting Stefan in his steps. The older man did not reply as the rest of the men laughed, sneering and already planning what to do with him.
It was best not to retaliate, but he was not sure how much were they willing to negotiate. With the slight ringing feel of metal on each men, they seemed not be the type that liked having their hostages running away safely, yet he would still try. It was not like he could not defend himself, yet he knows the consequence of revealing even a little about his skills.
So when the bags were knocked off from his hands and an arm had wrapped around his neck, enough to make him gasp a breath out, and he felt a sharp, cold metal on the skin of his jaw, he did nothing. He only stared at the man before him, hoping that this did not need to have him use his powers.
“Bet you make a lot of many selling those smelly rundown books of yours. Would you mind sharing a little of it with us?”

Angel had been gone for a long time, likely because that winter had been a harsh and bitter cold one and she hated the cold. But as the air grew warmer, she had returned, flying over the see before landing on the edge of her home. She hadn’t noticed an old friend on the beach though.

Now there was an unexpected sight. Rose had discovered some corrupted gem activity in this area, and Garnet had confirmed her suspicions, but instead of finding a corrupted gem, she found... another gem?
Standing stiffly on the warp pad, Rose stared, startled, before suspicion began to set in, and she shifted her body defensively.
“....What are you doing on Earth?”
