These people are demons who live in purgatory to help prepare sinners to enter heaven. They mainly focus on the seven deadly sins. However these guys eat dreams. Even the innocent looking ones like Hops. The nearby village was so affected by them that the gods used a gate that could only be opened up by 8 hard to get to gems and pretty looking rocks in order to seal them in Purgatory.
