“to be completely honest, it was a nightmare. don’t get me wrong, i’m so glad i got to debut with these five wonderful girls, but the training was rough and i-i felt like a robot. not only that but i had to endure it for four whole years. that experience actually grew my fear of failure. it got way better in the end, though.”

“it was pretty easy, considering i’d debuted before. i knew, like, what to do and how to do my best without overworking myself. it even got pretty fun sometimes!”

“for me, honestly? love is the best thing you could ever experience. like, the whole ‘meeting a person, getting to know them, growing a stable relationship with them, spending lots of time with them’ is just an amazing feeling, and then when you realise “oh i actually want to spend the rest of my life with this person” it’s scary and nauseating and exciting all at once. i’ve only fallen in love with one person and i would do it a thousand times over.”

“i was a bit of a flirt when i was younger, and i would have casual relationships but when they said the l word, alarm bells went off in my head! [laughs] so i would always break it off with them. all that changed once i met this person and i was like “this isn’t supposed to happen, i’m not supposed to get attached” and i would start getting lovesick and thinking of this person 24/7. love is... it’s different to ‘like liking’ someone. love makes you sad and sick and happy at the same time. most importantly, it makes you grow.”
