It was an old scar that healed and hardened over time. Aang never really minded much about it in particular, especially when the flat of her palms pressed diligently against him. Sometimes they dug into him, her nails piercing into his skin as she begged him to keep going. A shudder coursing through his body, very much so like the lightning that struck him--except not as painful.

This time, her fingers gently brushed against him in a barely there touch. His shoulders hunched forward and his eyes fluttered shut as he focused on that one sensation alone. Those very same hands that healed that wound and brought him back.

Those were the only hands that were allowed to touch him in that manner, and he was absolutely okay with it.
