Day and night lemur leafs, they turn sort of purple at night.
Hylomantis lemur
Hylomantis lemur is a species of frog in the Hylidae family that is found in Colombia, Costa Rica, and Panama. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, rivers, freshwater marshes, and intermittent freshwater marshes. It is threatened by habitat loss and the fungal disease chytridiomycosis. During the day the Lemur leaf frog is a vibrant green but a darkens to brown as night approaches. This characteristic enhances its ability to camouflage in the day and hunt at night. Its lack of musculature in its arms and legs result from its unique mobility emphasizing the use of all four limbs in walking rather than the hind legs in leaping or forward propulsion. Adult females range approximately from 40-45mm in length by 15-20mm in length across the abdomen in resting position, while males range from approximately 30-35mm in length by 10-15mm in length across the abdomen in resting position.

Phelsuma klemmeri, Poecilotheria metallica, and Hylomantis lemur. 3 critically engendered species in the wild according tot he ICUN red list that im hoping to breed.
The one and only Lemur Leaf Tree Frog, Hylomantis lemur. Critically endangered and rapidly vanishing from the wild, the bulk of them in the hands of conservation projects at Manchester Museum and Bristol Zoo Gardens and private hobbyists. Feel sort of honored to have 5 of my own, two different bloodlines of the nice Costa Rican locality. Fingers crossed they do half as well as i hope they will. Believe it or not they’re both the same species in these shots, they can change from that lush lime green during the day to near purple at night when they’re active, similar to gecko’s firing up and down.

A highly threatened amphibian from Central America, the Lemur leaf frog, Hylomantis lemur (Hylidae) has a remarkable ability to change color depending on whether it is active or resting.
When resting during the day, the slender lemur leaf frog is mostly bright green, speckled with small brown dots. Its hands, feet and flanks are yellow and its underparts are white. A thick black line surrounds each large, pale, pearly eye. The vertical pupils indicate the lemur leaf frog’s nocturnal lifestyle.
When active during the night, the upperparts of the lemur leaf frog turn brown, thus providing excellent camouflage. Its eyes also turn dark grey [1].
The lemur leaf frog has a fragmented distribution in Costa Rica, Panama and northern Colombia, and it is regarded as a Critically Endangered species on the IUCN Red List.
Lemur leaf frog. (Hylomantis lemur)
A critically endangered frog from Central America, the lemur leaf frog has the amazing ability to change colour depending on the time of day.
During the day, when resting, the frog is mostly bright green with small brown spots. It's sides and limbs are yellow, and the underside is white. It's pale eyes are surrounded by a thick black line.
However, it becomes active at night, changing it's upper parts from green to brown. It's eyes also darken considerably, providing excellent camouflage.
