Hymathon is the annual 24-hour online symposium dedicated to the study of Hymenoptera, hosted by the International Society of Hymenopterists. Throwback to Hymathon 2023. I was requested to draw various tired Hymenopterans hypothetically attending said seminar to be put on a certificate given out to those that successfully participated for the entire 24 hour duration. It was a fun project! I'm aware that caffeine can kill insects, but for the sake of comedy and irony, I drew it to convey the action of staying awake. There are some things I would probably draw a bit differently now, but the old style still works.
