Francouzká hymna: Do zbraně, občané! Zformujte bataliony! Vpřed, vpřed! Nechť nečistá krev, napojí brázdy našich polí.
A Češi jsou jakože: máme tu hezké stromy.
Dneska mi v hlavě hrajou samý braky. Ráda bych to rádio přeladila... ale bohužel to nejde.

Here my loving guru says that,
A lamp without any oil, even if you manage to light it, how long will it give you light for?
If there are no streams that feed into a lake, how long will the water in that lake last for?
Even if you manage to get some love from an insensitive person, how much love do you expect to get from him?
If the sky is full of clouds, how much sunlight do you expect to get?
Someone who is extremely greedy, how much faith can you put in him?
The person who is knee deep into trouble, how much and how long will he be able to walk on the right path ?
How many good choices (path of righteousness ) will he be able to make along the way?
If a tsunami hits, how long will even a professional swimmer be able to swim in it?
In pouring rain, how long will someone mange to stay dry?
A heart that is full of desires and greed, how long will it sustain the emotion of contentment (Vairagya)?
In the heart that is full of ego, love for the Divine will last for how long?
What I understand from this hymn is that we need to connect with the source ( the Divine) in order to receive in abundance and stay on right path in life. Abundance of love, happiness, light ( right understanding/true knowledge ). 🙏🏻

Every creature in this world, small or big is important, everyone’s life is dear to themselves.
Everyone has obtained this life in this world because of Additions of Karmas of previous lives.
Please do such deeds in this life that there is reduction in your previous additions.
Whoever has taken birth in this world, has to bear with the burden of their own karmas (actions).
Circumstances in this life occurs accordingly and highs and lows of joy and sorrow s are felt also accordingly.
The purpose of every life is the same, which is to become free of the effects of all the karmas accumulated.
Don’t do such actions, where there is addition to your account of karmas (deeds).
One will have to bear the effect of actions either joyfully or sadly.
God has given such intellect to you so that it should be used in correct way.
How many time will you get the advantage of this human life?
Kaka is explaining that Law of Karma is infallible and everyone is invariably subjected to it. As per this law, every positive deed generates a merit and negative one generates demerit which subsequently we repay by enduring the happiness or unhappiness. This loop of Karmas and destiny binds us and we remain entangled in cycle of life and birth. With God’s Grace, we have got this human life with intellect and emotions, an opportunity for us to burn the effects of our actions at a faster pace.
Hymna
Olympijskému výboru připadá prý současná česká hymna příliš krátká a málo vhodná pro oslavu vítězství. Proto se pokusil vyvolat diskusi, zda by nebylo záhodno (proto aby sportovec na bedně stál o pár vteřin déle) přidat i druhou sloku. Osloven byl (bez jakékoli soutěže - což u národního symbolu asi není úplně nejlepší) skladatel Miloš Bok. Na tiskové konferenci v prostorách českého rozhlasu bylo představeno několik verzí (poslechnout si je můžete zde) a řekl bych, že to Bok možná pojal až moc pompézně a moderně - celkově podle ohlasů veřejnosti se v tom lidé často ztrácejí. I mě se rozhodně mnohem více zamlouvá současná jednodušší podoba. V reakci na toto se např. objevily i “návrhy” na novou českou vlajku (tento je od instagramového kolážisty TMBK):
A popravdě je to celkem trefné.
Vlastně má ČOV (český olympijský výbor) v něčem pravdu. Česká hymna opravu není vítězný bouřlivý hlahol, ale píseň žebráka, který teskní po svém domově. Možná ale právě proto přečkala beze změn totality i všemožné nálady v naší společnosti i když jí mnohokrát byly házeny klacky pod nohy. (Další verze zde.)
