“Oh I know it does. And whats funny, is that the fastest way a liar can get caught is by another liar. Because they can read each other like newsprint on paper.” he speaks,crossing his arms as he leans against the wall.
Hyoyeon squints slightly, her eyebrows pulling together. She rests her hands on her hips and tilts her head, looking at him for a few seconds. “Yeah? And what are you implying?” She asks, her tone innocent. “Have you caught me in a particularly bad lie?”

“It’s way more fun to break the rules than to follow them.”

Hyoyeon heard her phone buzz from across the room, and looked up from her stack of reports quickly. Her apartment was a cluttered mess, as it always was when she was working on a big assignment, and she had no actual idea where her phone was in the mess.
Since she was bored out of her mind, she put down the report and stood, surveying the room. She walked around, moving things out of the way until she finally found her cell phone under a book on the coffee table. Hyoyeon’s eyes widened when she opened the text message from the unknown number.

Yuri was on the street, hearing her music as she saw the female in the front of her dropping her bracelet without noticing as she kept walking. Quickly the woman grabbed the phone and walked faster towards the girl, taking off her earphones she touched her arm to call her attention "excuse me, you dropped your bracelet"
Hyoyeon felt someone touch her and turned quickly to look for the source. The woman she found was holding out her mother’s bracelet, the small silver chain with one metal charm in the shape of a bird. “Ah, thanks.” She said gratefully, taking it back. “I don’t know what I’d do if I lost this.”

Hyoyeon was dead tired. She had been up way later than she should have been working on a project her coworkers had decided to neglect, and they had the audacity to call her across the city at nine in the morning. And of course, nothing was going her way. Apologizing quickly to the stranger she had bumped into, and snapped at rather harshly, she said,“I’m not feeling so sociable today.”
☢ —- Corentine for Hyoyeon: "Why are you staring at me like that?"
Place one of these in my ask if we’ve never interacted before
@caelestians
Hyoyeon jerked, torn from her reverie by the girl’s voice. “S-sorry.” She stuttered an apology, her eyebrows coming together. “You just…” She trailed off, unsure how to end the sentence. Why had she been staring? Something was weird, some aura or something tipping the scales inside Hyoyeon. “Do I know you?”
