Blood is no foreigner to the photographer, contrasting with the pale shade of his flesh, slipping through thin flaws of a human’s skin--it became normal through time, dragging his body through the streets after yet another violent confrontation. Having the senses and control over his own body ripped from him has never been an easy fact to absorb, though it was one he was forced to get used to through time, mostly because there was no way out of the vicious cycle. So many times before did he almost die when it came to blood loss, broken bones, concussions and whatsoever caused by fights against the targets he was sent to annihilate and whoever dared to get in his way. Even though having a strong body built and supernatural skills, Thomas is still only human, reason as to why even a simple punch affects his balance. Tonight, it was no different.
Along the way back home, a phone call is made, directed towards another male whose abilities could very much be of help, especially with blood pouring from every visible extent of his body. It is only when he barges out of the elevator and towards his front door that a figure forms by the end of the hallway, blurred at first because the blood loss has crossed the limit to a greater beyond by now. The phrase formed by the latter’s voice has him snorting somehow in a sarcastic way, though the sound pierces a shot of pain through his stomach, the hand pressed against it now pressuring the spot with a higher intensity before the other hand can grip to the other’s jacket. “Yeah, you can bet I kicked his ass. Now help me before you can make fun of me, Magnus.” There’s a groan then dragging from the back of his throat as the deep cut on his abdomen stings, shaking the shorter male with any strength he has left. “If I die, it’s your fault.”
