Favorite fictional animal?
Fighting games don’t really have many animals/creatures now that I think about it, likely because they’re very character-centric and don’t have little enemies or such you fight. That said though, this is the perfect opportunity for me to mention:
HYPE DOG
“Hype Dog” is the community-given name to this dog here (shown above) that appears in the Bascule map from Continuum Shift (shown below).
This dog just sits there on the stage barking. Loudly. Non-stop. It’s immersion-breaking in the best way possible when your edgy anime characters are fighting and shouting with dramatic rock and metal music playing in the background and then it all just gets broken by the loud and constant noise of:
