Some days you have to walk softly and carry a BIG stick...especially when you've just got far more energy than mom. Silly Bear. This stick is now a little shorter, thanks to the four legged kiddo evidently spending some real quality time trying to chew her self-chosen tree into firewood lengths. You can't say she doesn't try to help!

I am dogsitting my parents' pupper all week this week, and as much as I love the dog (she is an absolute sweetheart, if a bit bonkers) I am constantly being reminded how much of a cat and/or fish person I am. They are 100% autonomous unless they want food. They act cute for the food, and once fed, mostly leave you alone.

tips for wearing down energetic dog???

hey, so we found this cute medium sized dog near our yard, has a collar, but no tags and isn’t chipped. we’ll most likely be sending her to a no kill shelter on monday (if no one comes for her), but for now we’re just trying to figure out how to deal with her

she is SUPER energetic, i took her on a 25 minute walk but she’s still hyper, what do i do? i was hoping she’d tire out and relax by now, but no dice! and my plan to play fetch with her fell through (she doesn’t care about toys at all) so what do i do? pls help
