“I’VE COME TO MAKE AN ANNOUNCEMENT, HANDSOME JACK IS A BITCH ASS MOTHERFUCKER, HE FUCKED MY FUCKING MOM.”
The Old Gods Never Left This Place

This could not be real. It simply could not be real. Handsome Jack had been dead nearly a year now, and yet his voice had been heard clear across the station. As soon as Maya heard the dictator’s voice, she made a beeline for his former office. She had almost as much clearance as her former boss, and a simple scan of her ID card granted her access to the room.
“So,” she boomed in the direction of the scrawny looking figure sitting behind the desk. “What’s all this about ‘the new face of Hyperion’?”
Field Trip

The siren squinted up at the drop barge as it took off and returned to the station. I guess they aren’t going to be waiting for us, she thought, rather annoyed. If things get too hairy, evac is going to take some time. She then turned to her partner. She looked... aquatic. It was a terrible way to describe someone, she knew that, but this individual looked extremely out of place on land.
“So, I know we didn’t talk a lot on the shuttle, but what exactly is your mission here?” Maya asked. She had just been informed that she was to tail this VIP and make sure nothing happened to her. Simple in theory, but that all depended on who the VIP was and where they were going. At the very least, she would try to figure out the second part before they set off.
The Bane of Hyperion

Maya wiped the sweat from her brow. She hated how hot this planet was sometimes. It was much nicer to kick back in her air-conditioned suite back on Helios.
She kept walking, rounding a large rock to find a massive figure. The figure wore what appeared to be some sort of gas mask and carried a large, wicked looking buzz axe. They were clearly a psycho, but unlike any the siren had seen before. He looked stronger, and more powerful. Her hand went instinctively to her sidearm.
“Identify yourself,” she said sternly. She knew most psychos won’t listen to reason, but she didn’t necessarily want to fight this monster of a man. Not if she could get him to leave her alone.
A Unique Opportunity

The siren sat in front of a desk. Across from her was a man, about in his forties, judging by his appearance. Then again, it was hard to tell with the mask covering his actual face. She glanced around the room briefly. It was impressive. Hyperion certainly lived up to it’s reputation of extravagance.
“So uh, mister Jack?” she started hesitantly. “What kind of offer did you have in mind?” It hadn’t even been a week since she left Athenas, and already she was being approached by corporations. It was kind of staggering.
Horrible Bosses

She stepped into the massive office, neglecting to knock of course. Her employer should have known the siren was on her way, having summoned her and everything.
“Alright, what is it this time Jack?” She sounded slightly annoyed. “You need another camp wiped out or something?”
She hoped not. She’d already done three of those missions this week. She wanted something exciting. Or at the very least, different.

Maya walked quickly into Angel’s office. Before she could be acknowledged, she plopped a thick folder full of papers onto the desk.
“Here’s my report on the last raid. Managed to get some artifacts out of it too. Already dropped them off at R&D. If you want to know more about them, ask those guys.”
Defusing The Situation

“So we finally found you,” the siren said, strolling into the workshop. “The rouge bomb-maker that’s been helping the Vault Hunters sabotage our mines.” Upon actually seeing said bomb-maker, she hesitated.
“Uh, I didn’t expect you to be quite so... small.”
