pandora: sooooooo... can we keep her?

athena: she isn’t a pet, pandora.

pandora: i know that! i just want a little sister!

athena: and where is she now?

hyperion: upstairs. she really likes art, i think, so she’s drawing some stuff up there.

athena: ...alright, i’ll go talk to her. you two stay here.

pandora: her name is tsukiko and she’s an orphan like us and she came from a boarding house --

hyperion: -- but it ended up on fire because of a scumbag, something about insurance, but it’s okay! ‘cause we found her --

pandora: -- when we were at the park, she was really upset because she has nowhere to go --

hyperion: -- and we couldn’t just leave her that, ‘cause you taught us better than that! we’re good citizens.

pandora: okay, so, i’ve always wanted a little sister.

hyperion: i would’ve preferred a little brother, but i don’t really mind either way.

athena: what.

pandora: oh, it’s okay, you don’t have to pick a kid yourself, we’ve already chosen one for you!

hyperion: she’s really nice, even if she’s kinda shy.

athena: what.

hyperion: what’s up with you today?

pandora: nothing much.

orange: ...did you just... not take a chance to be dramatic? you are weird today.

[sarahjsims]

pandora: you’re back!

athena: yep, i just got home.

hyperion: great, ‘cause we need to talk to you about something super important.

athena: oh?

[sarahjsims]

celia: no.

pandora: aw, c’mon, please? please, please, please!

tsukiko: ( nervous laugh ) u-um... pandora... i don’t have to be here if she doesn’t want me to be here...

hyperion: it’s okay, we’ve got this -- hey, celia, you know that you’re technically not the boss of us, right?

celia: excuse me?

[sarahjsims]

pandora: that’s okay, though! we’ll be your family now!

tsukiko slowly stands and looks at the twins properly for the first time. she’s frowning, though it appears to be more out of confusion than anything.

tsukiko: you... don’t have to do that.

hyperion: no, we don’t have to, but if athena can decide to keep us, we can decide to keep you.

pandora: ( gasps ) i’m gonna have a baby sister!

tsukiko: ?????????????
