Amber-Rose has a classical feeling, but punch and grit on the side. Hippy, without being OTT. Ageless, without being vintage. Floral, without being floaty. On the money.

Are hyphenated names becoming more popular?  I have 3 students this year with hyphenated names.  Not that I care, it’s just unusual for me to have so many.  One of them even has dad’s name as the first part and mom’s as the second. First time I’ve seen that.  Interesting!

Hanna-Mae just rolls off the tongue, with the feeling of winsome beauty. Hanna being Hebrew, for Grace, Beauty and Favor, whilst Mae is French meaning Spring (or the month of May)

I Can see Hanna-Mae being yelled out across the meadows, calling in a young and dauntless girl for dinner at the end of a fine day.

Percy-Pete is resourceful and swift to act, funny and epigrammatic. I also really appreciate both of these original Greek names, and would find a hypeneated Perseus-Petros absolutely charming, especially if used by someone with Greek heritage.
