I occasionally have hypnopompic hallucinations, & I've only ever seen spiders & other bugs (with the exception of those giant, demonic, reptilian hands reaching out of the wall right above my head one time), but today was different. I woke up on my back with my hands resting on my chest, & not only did I see a tiny bat, but I also heard it flapping it's wings & I felt it scratching/biting my right hand. It was kinda terrifying (I love bats but don't want them in my house). Even after I was awake enough to not see or hear it anymore, I still felt the scratches/bites on my hand for at least a minute or two afterward, & I think I could even see a red mark. Anyone want to guess what the heck that was about? I'm kinda freaked out because this is so unusual for me.
