This hypnosis script is inspired by @sammsays' "If you wanna feel like a puppy for a bit, read this. Trust me." check them out if you're interested in high quality hypnosis content.
This is a little hypnosis script intended to be beginner friendly. If you are new to hypnosis: this will work best if you are lying/sitting comfortably, read at a slow/talking pace and don't have too many distractions around. Personally, I find these to be at their most effective when I imagine a voice reading to me at a slow pace. And if you're sceptical of if/how this will work, but still feeling a bit curious, well keep on reading and play along! I promise you will have a nice time and worst case scenario you can be amused by my methods.
So, that title got your attention, did it? That little burst of curiosity as your brain goes "Feel like a kitten? How's that going to work?" Well it is quite simple really, I plan to use my little script here to hypnotise you, bringing you into trance, then putting you into the headspace of a cute little kitten. Of course I will keep the specifics secret for now, spoiling it would ruin the fun after all. Oh? Does this talk of secrets spike your curiosity? If so, keep reading and you will have your answers in no time at all! Ok, now that the formalities are out of the way, let us begin!
After all you must be so curious about the secret.
But before I can reveal it, you must prepare, so focus on that curiosity for me.
It is a complex feeling, that anticipation, the desire to know, focus on that and let the curiosity build.
Feel that curiosity permeate your being.
Now focus on my words, the text you are reading and tuck that curiosity into the back of your mind.
Focus of course is something we do a lot in our day to day lives. Such as when we have to focus for work or school, those tasks get a lot easier when you focus.
Of course those are the more "boring" uses of focus.
My favourite use of focus is immersion, when you allow yourself to get deeply immersed in a hobby, such as a book, a game or roleplaying.
You are probably aware of how it feels, when you get so deeply focused and immersed that the world around you simply fades away.
Focus on that memory of immersion and feel yourself get pulled into it. The more you focus on my words, the more immersed in them you become.
Focus is essential for the secret I want to show you, and you have done very well at focusing so far, but you need more.
We can fuel your focus using the curiosity that has been building up in the back of your mind.
Your mind knows that the only way to satisfy your curiosity is to focus on my words.
With every mention of the secret your curiosity builds which only causes your focus to grow stronger.
And to help you along a little bit I will give you a little teaser. An insight into my methods, so you know to remain focused and to help build that curiosity.
This has been the first of three steps to prepare you for the secret and you have done excellently, focusing so well. Yes, three steps, a magical number, feel that curiosity build, strengthening your focus.
I promise you it will be worth it; this is a very good secret.
You are very focused now and I can direct this focus to help relax your body.
Our bodies contain a complex weave that allows us to control it, you know its threads as neurons. However, interwoven with this weave there is another kind of thread, that which keeps your body alert and ready to act, you know these as tension.
Focus on your body and feel that tension, it would just be so nice if we could just remove it.
Luckily, using your focus, we can better see your individual body parts, allowing me to make out these threads of tension. I can then pull out these threads, leaving your body nice and relaxed.
And when all that tension is gone, it will be so much easier to focus on my words. As if there are less threads weighing down your focus.
Focus on your feet and feel as I pull out the tension. Feel as your feet, so tired from walking around so much, grow heavy and relaxed, as if they are placed under a weighted blanket.
This relaxing feeling travels up as you focus on your calves and I pull on the tension, the threads simply allowing themselves to get gathered in my hand.
Your thighs and hips are next, focusing as I pull, and you relax.
Your focus follows my words to your abdomen and chest as I pull and you relax, your breathing becoming nice and calm.
Focus on your shoulders now, tension pulled out before you realise it, feeling so nice and heavy and relaxed.
Your arms are next, relaxing as I pull and you focus, not a single bit of tension left.
Then of course are your hands, they relax as I pull, yet they remain scrolling, doing so automatically at the pace that is perfect for you. The only thing you must do is focus on my words and follow my direction.
Your body feels so heavy, yet there is more tension, and you focus on your neck as I pull out the tension.
Finally, your facial muscles relax, lips perhaps settling into a content smile and your eyelids growing heavy, yet they do not close as I pull the final bits of tension from your body.
Your curiosity and focus won't allow your eyes to close, instead they blink as needed, eyes dutifully following my words.
And that was step two of three! You are so close now, with your body so nice and heavy and relaxed, free of tension, freeing up even more focus for me to work with.
Speaking of that tension I collected all the threads into a little ball of yarn in your mind, would you please mentally bat that away for me?
Thank you. You are doing so very well, such a good, focused subject. Now let us continue.
For the final step I will have to unravel your mind. Oh yes, you might have forgotten about that. So deeply focused you did not notice how heavy your mind has grown, how your thoughts have slowed and how difficult it is to focus on anything but my words.
Of course, unravelling your mind is not easy, or well, it shouldn't be, but I can do a lot with your focus on my words. Our minds are incredibly complicated weaves, tapestries of us and who we are, our thoughts and beliefs, truly beautiful works of art. However, our minds are not perfect, stray thoughts and ideas leave empty threads hanging out, which are normally collected and woven in by our focus.
And with all your focus directed at me, there is nothing to weave those threads in. Nothing to stop me from simply getting close and...
Pull out a piece of your mind
And with every thread I pull, it exposes more threads deeper in your mind. With every thread I pull the less thoughts there are to occupy your mind.

It is very easy to return to a normal state, I could do it quickly, you could do it quickly yourself, but it is nicest to be pulled up slowly by another. I will simply count up, from 1-10 and on 10 I will tell you to "wake up" and you will receive a nice little burst of energy, returning to normal.

Ball of yarn gone, your mind weaving itself back into its normal shape, the memory of this trance either weaving itself along with your other memories, or simply getting discarded, your choice.

You can think again, though it is difficult and slow.

Threads connecting to your body, letting you feel it again like normal.

Most of the threads in your mind are in place, letting thoughts connect and hold on, granting structure and making your head feel lighter

Threads have fully connected to your arms and legs, wiggle them around a bit, feeling nice as you shake out the trance.

Senses returning you grow aware of your surroundings.

Your mind speeds up, final straggling threads finding their place.

Hello! I hope you had a good time! I am a bit new to all this, so I hope this was effective. Any feedback is appreciated! Be it telling me what worked, what didn't work, how you think I could improve, if you liked it and if you want me to do more. This was a personal project of mine, mostly writing it to see if I could, specifically picking a kitten focus because I noticed a lack of that and thought I might as well try filling that niche a bit. You've seen them before right? These long winding text posts that slowly drag you into trance, using some guided relaxation.
It's always inhale, hold, exhale, hold

It's called box breathing. It works, it gets the job done, but most people don't realize how unnatural it is. Inhaling all of those good warm feelings only to interrupt it with tension? Exhaling out worries only to be worried about how long until the next breath?
This all revealed itself in my college course on voice, which focuses heavily on breathing, letting go, and relaxing.
So I'd love to introduce you to the more natural way to breathe: circle breathing.
Allow yourself to take a slow, deep inhale in, relish in the feeling of calm it provides you
And as you hit the peak of your inhale
When you have no more room in your lungs
Gently transition into exhaling deeply, slowly
Letting everything that is giving you stress just cruise out from your body through your breath
And as you reach the end of your exhale, just go right back to your inhale
A cycle with no stops nor pauses, no distracting counting of seconds
Just the pure flow of relaxation and calm.
Feeling your stomach rise and fall
Your chest expand and contracts
Your ribcage slowly opening and closing
Your back growing and shrinking
Because of course breathing is more than just your diaphragm
Breathing with your whole body lets you inhale deeper, relax further, and feel happier

Personally, my favorite feeling in hypnosis is the feeling of being controlled
Specifically, I love when my body is controlled. It's a very freeing and fun feeling: having arm raised up, feeling warmer or colder, or some body part feeling all tingly.
Now, if you don't mind
I mean of course you don't, your mind is quite gone at this point...
I would love to let you feel the same way!
Starting of course with your heavy, heavy, relaxed limbs
Just imagine your free hand has a balloon tied to it
Filled and filled with lots of helium
And that free hand is just floating up with the balloon
Until it's stretched all the way up
Now, I only told you to imagine it. So how did your hand get all the way up there?
Here, I'll help you down.
I'll just grab a needle and POP that balloon for you!
So your arm slumps down back to your side.
As you can clearly see, other than for scrolling, I have full control of your body.
If you try to move your arm it's not going to budge unless I make it move for you.
I could spend hours trying out different movements and sensations
But maybe, I could instead give YOU something that could last hours and hours if you wanted
So this will be my last little gift to you
Imagine, for me, that there is a spiral on your forehead
A simple one that whirls and whirls
Very pretty, Very easy to follow
But it's slowly starting to fade! You don't want it to fade right?
Like a magnet, you can feel your index finger heading towards the spiral
Closer and closer
Stronger and stronger
As it lands perfectly on your forehead tracing the spirals path. This way the spiral may continue its path going round and round and round and round
Pulling your finger away becomes more and more difficult by the second, and pulling away seems like a bad idea actually
Because as your finger spirals you feel a cozy warmth and tingles cover your body, as a dreamy, sleepy, trancey fog clouds your mind more and more with happy mindless feelings
you know when you stretch a rubber band, how it stretches out to a certain point, and then it gets harder and harder to stretch, and you get wary, because if you keeping pulling, it might snap -- and sting your fingers when it does. it's pretty nervewracking to try to snap a rubber band, because you don't know exactly where it will snap -- so you can't ever really be ready for when it does.
but what if it didn't snap? what if you kept pulling, stretching it out wider and wider and wider, and it got a little harder to pull, but it just kept stretching out further and further and further? isn't that interesting to imagine? if you started pulling on one usual rubber band, and it stretched alllll the way out til your arms were all the way wide apart? wouldn't that be surprising? it might be pretty hard to hold it stretched out at that point -- and even though there's no chance of it snapping, as soon as you relax and stop trying to stretch it out further, you'd suddenly notice how much force it was pulling back with - so much your hands might slap! back together almost the second you relaxed. when your hands hit, you would probably drop the rubbed band from the jolt. you might shake your hands & arms out, since they got a little stiff when you were stretching that rubber band all the way out and your arms were out straight as far out as they could stretch. and when you're ready, i can place another rubbed band just like that one in your hands. i'm not sure you'd want to stretch it out allll the way again -- but you might just test the rubber band, stretching it a little, seeing if it's the same, seeing if it really won't break no matter how hard you pull. and as you test a little more, and a little more, you might end up with arems atretched allll the way out apart as far as you can stretch them before you even realize what's happened. and then, back like that again, you'd know your hands would slap! back together as soon as you even start to relax. so it might be a little scary to try starting to relax -- but then you're just stuck there, arms stretched out as far as you can, stretching that rubber band all the way out. of course, you couldn't stay like that forever, and as soon as you got tired, as soon as there was the least natural slackening of your muscles, which happens in just a minute or two, you know your arms are just going to slap! back together and that rubber band will fly off somewhere. and so you might hold your arms apart stretching that rubber band for as long as you can, too nervous to let your arms relax the slightest bit. until they relax on their own -- until you feel a little trembling, a little tiredness, a little exhaustion, and you feel that little bit of give -- and then slap! before you know it.
and when i see that your hands have slapped back together, and you're shaking them out again, i could try something else. i could hold your wrists together, and slip another rubber band of the same type around your wrists. right now it's not quite loose, just a snug fit around your wrists, gently holding them together. and like before, you can try to pull your wrists apart, but -- well, it's a lot harder to do in this position. you could use all the strength of your hands and arms and chest before to stretch it all the way out before -- can you still do it now? it will be harder, because you can only use a few of those muscles that you were using all of before. with the rubber band around your wrists, you can only use a few muscles in your chest, really, to try to stretch that rubber band out. you might find that you come much more quickly to that point where you can't stretch it any further, and where you're straining and pulling with those muscles that you can use, feeling the strain and tension concentrated just in those few muscles -- and you know that if you relaxed them, your wrists would bump! just right back together, quicker than before because you couldn't get them so far apart. try now with your wrists to stretch out that rubber band. can't get that far apart at all, can you? it almost feels like the rubber band is a lot stronger than before. ten times stronger than before. really, you're just only able to use about a tenth of the strength, but it's hard to notice that -- it just feels like the rubber band is ten times stronger. and because you're just using those few muscles, you'll cross over much more quickly when you feel them relax even a little bit, and your wrists will bump! -- and this time, because the rubber band is around your wrists rather than just held with your fingers, it won't come flying off. it will stay just right where it is, holding your wrists together gently. and you can try streeeetching again, and see how far you can get this time. not quite as far, it looks like. and then even faster you notice that tremble, quiver, slight bit of give and -- bump! back together. and now i can do something else. i can put another rubber band around your wrists. and if you try to stretch two together, it'll naturally be twice as hard, twice times ten times as hard as the first time you stretched it, when you could stretch it allll the way out. now it's twenty times as hard as that, and you almost start to strain before your wrists are even really apart. you might wonder how far apart you've even been able to get them -- it might feel like you're stretching the rubber bands further and further, little by little, but really maybe you're just straining and using all the strength you can find and barely getting your wrists apart at all. and the only way to know, really, how far you got them apart is to let that little tremble, quiver, slight slip and bump! just happen right now. how far do you think you had gotten them? did they bump back against each other right away, like they were barely apart at all? do you think you could get them apart at all if there were a third rubber band placed around your wrists along with the other two? what about with a fourth? or a fifth? now that there are five rubber bands around your wrists, can you stretch them apart at all? can you make even a little space between your wrists? or are they just stuck tight together, and you can't pull them apart now matter how hard you try? maybe you can pull them apart a little. maybe it's just hard to tell if they're apart or still together -- how many rubber bands do you think it would take for there to be just no chance you could pull them apart at all? five more? ten? twenty? if there were a hundred rubber bands around your wrists, there's absolutely no way you could pull them apart even in the slightest.
and in a moment, you'll hear a signal. this is a hypnotic signal, and you'll know it's a hypnotic signal, and what will happen is, curiously, all those rubber bands will fly themselves up and away off your wrists just like that, one by one coming up off your wrists and flying off somewhere, like they're being moved with a magic wand. one by one, but it'll all happen in a moment, and before the signal even ends you'll find you can shake your hands and your arms and shake out the tension from stretching and tensing and trying so hard.
and...*piiiiiiiiiiiiiing.* shaking out your hands, shaking out your arms, loose and shaking out all the pressure and tension you built up there. wonderful. isn't it surprising how all those rubber bands flew off one by one all in a moment just like that? like i wiggled a magic wand at them and all on their own they just flew themselves up and off and away? can you imagine, in fact, seeing that magic wand? can you imagine looking at the tip there, wondering how so much power can come from so small a thing? do you wonder what might happen if instead of the rubber bands, the magic wand were used right on you? if your left hand is just there in your lap now, comfortably, and i wiggled the tip of the magic wand just over your left wrist, would your left wrist start to wiggle too? it might already, just from thinking about it, or it might take the magic word -- *snap* alakazam! wiggle wiggle wiggle. look at your left wrist wiggling like that, isn't that funny?
now -- what if i flicked the tip of the wand up a little, like i was gesturing to your wrist that it should rise up, up into the air? if i flicked the tip of that wand up, and up again, right over your wrist there, would you notice it feeling tugged up with each flick up, still wiggling, tugged up and up -- and do you feel it already, or are you waiting for the magic word? well, a little more will happen this time -- when i say the magic word, your wrist will suddenly float allll the way straught up, up, up, up straight up in the air all of a sudden as soon as you hear the magic word. if i flick the wand up and up again your wrist already knows this, tugged up, and up, and up -- and -- *snap* alakazam! allllll the way up in the air now, just perfect. and there's another property that this magic wand has already, without even needing another magic word -- if i were to tap the tip of it right on your wrist, your arm would get frozen stiff rigid and solid and hard like it was all ice, all a bar of icy cold steel, instantly and completely just from one little tap on your wrist. and i'll tell you when i tap there, since it might be a little hard to notice. i can see your wrist is still wiggling back and forth a little little bit, and it's often disorienting to have it just float all the way up, and you ight not know quite where it is, so it might be hard to tell when i tap right there. but when i do, your arm will be stiff, rigid, solid, hard all in an instant. and now-- tap!
can you move your arm at all? does that power of the magic wand impress you? i didn't even have to wiggle it back and forth or say a magic word. just a tap right there -- and your arm knew exactly what to do. stiff and rigid and solid and hard. now funnily, the magic wand doesn't work the other way. it can't relax your arm. only you can relax your arm. and it might seem hard now, like it's held stiff and rigid and solid and hard by pure magic -- but if you listen, take a deep breath, and relax, you can notice that magic sloowwwly starting to fade away. sloooowwwly that little tap wears off, and your arm starts to relax, just like that, slowly relaxing down, alll the way down to your side, just completely relaxed.
now -- don't you wonder what might happen if i tapped you with this magic wand, right in the middle of your forehead? would your whole body freeze up, stiff and rigid and solid and hard suddenly, magically, just from that one quick tap, just like your arm? let's find out in just a moment. and if it does, if your whole body does go completely magically frozen just like that, you might think to yourself, "i am deeply hypnotized." and if you focus on saying that phrase, which is true, you can say it as many times as you like until, just like with your arm, the magic from that tap sloooowly wears off, and you sloooowly relax all the way down. and when you realize that the magic is almost gone, and you can move your little finger, then you can quite easily open your eyes, and realize that you were just deeply hypnotized. and now, right there -- tap!
