A little thing about breath

You've seen them before right? These long winding text posts that slowly drag you into trance, using some guided relaxation.
It's always inhale, hold, exhale, hold
inhale, hold, exhale, hold,
inhale, hold, exhale, hold.
It's called box breathing. It works, it gets the job done, but most people don't realize how unnatural it is. Inhaling all of those good warm feelings only to interrupt it with tension? Exhaling out worries only to be worried about how long until the next breath?
This all revealed itself in my college course on voice, which focuses heavily on breathing, letting go, and relaxing.
So I'd love to introduce you to the more natural way to breathe: circle breathing.
Allow yourself to take a slow, deep inhale in, relish in the feeling of calm it provides you
And as you hit the peak of your inhale
When you have no more room in your lungs
Gently transition into exhaling deeply, slowly
Letting everything that is giving you stress just cruise out from your body through your breath
And as you reach the end of your exhale, just go right back to your inhale
A cycle with no stops nor pauses, no distracting counting of seconds
Just the pure flow of relaxation and calm.
Feeling your stomach rise and fall
Your chest expand and contracts
Your ribcage slowly opening and closing
Your back growing and shrinking
Because of course breathing is more than just your diaphragm
Breathing with your whole body lets you inhale deeper, relax further, and feel happier
I'm going a little fast aren't I?
Don't worry about me then, just focus on trying to engage your whole body in breathing

You look so happy all hypnotized! I bet you feel very happy, too.
Personally, my favorite feeling in hypnosis is the feeling of being controlled
Specifically, I love when my body is controlled. It's a very freeing and fun feeling: having arm raised up, feeling warmer or colder, or some body part feeling all tingly.
Now, if you don't mind
I mean of course you don't, your mind is quite gone at this point...
I would love to let you feel the same way!
Starting of course with your heavy, heavy, relaxed limbs
Just imagine your free hand has a balloon tied to it
Filled and filled with lots of helium
And that free hand is just floating up with the balloon
Until it's stretched all the way up
Now, I only told you to imagine it. So how did your hand get all the way up there?
Here, I'll help you down.
I'll just grab a needle and POP that balloon for you!
So your arm slumps down back to your side.
As you can clearly see, other than for scrolling, I have full control of your body.
If you try to move your arm it's not going to budge unless I make it move for you.
I could spend hours trying out different movements and sensations
But maybe, I could instead give YOU something that could last hours and hours if you wanted
So this will be my last little gift to you
Imagine, for me, that there is a spiral on your forehead
A simple one that whirls and whirls
Very pretty, Very easy to follow
But it's slowly starting to fade! You don't want it to fade right?
Like a magnet, you can feel your index finger heading towards the spiral
Closer and closer
Stronger and stronger
As it lands perfectly on your forehead tracing the spirals path. This way the spiral may continue its path going round and round and round and round
Pulling your finger away becomes more and more difficult by the second, and pulling away seems like a bad idea actually
Because as your finger spirals you feel a cozy warmth and tingles cover your body, as a dreamy, sleepy, trancey fog clouds your mind more and more with happy mindless feelings
Falling deeper and deeper the more you spiral
Now it's just a matter of how long you can last.
