Madeline:: The girl's eyes were wide with surprise and slight fright. "W-what? Why are you acting this way?" ..."D-Don't you remember?"
Jabari blinked as he scratched his head and looked at the woman before him. He opened his mouth to speak only for nothing to come out. With a frown he tried to think of way to talk to Madeline before signing, “Remember what, ma’am? Are you in the right room?”
Madeline:: "Someone just robbed Barry's stupid floral shop...-groans softly behind her messy hair from her struggles from being tied on the chair- Unbind me?"
Jabari’s hair puffed up as he saw his friend tied to a chair, quickly rushing over to untie his friend’s hands. With a slight frown, he looked at his friends face noticing a couple of small marks and bruises. He went into his waist bag and put a bandage on Madeline’s face.
"Where did they go?" he signed with a frown before hearing something move in the back. With a frown he ran to the back of the store to see if he could stop the robbers only to find that they were speeding off in their car. Jabari clenched his fist before taking a deep breath and jumping towards the car.
Madeline rushed to the back and saw Jabari chasing after the thieves soon disappearing behind a building. She looked at the mess the robbers caused and scowled, pissed that she would have to clean up and rearrange the whole flower shop. As she began to sweep up some of the mess, she began to worry about Jabari.
'He just got out of the hospital…he didn't even have to go after them.' she thought before sitting down on the counter with a sigh looking out the window.
An hour or two passed before Madeline heard the door open running to see Jabari with a bag in his hands as well as a bandage on his face.
"Sorry…I had to take them to the police and get the money back." he signed before feeling her embrace, making him blush from the hug.
"Thanks, twinkle toes.."
