The more I look at Mario's canon height compared to a standard person (as well as the way I picture it in my version), the more I'm starting to seriously contemplate the headcanon that the bros might have hypochondroplasia. 🤔🩻

Short stature, stocky build, slight macrocephaly, broad hands and feet...

This would be possible as much in a scenario where Mario and Luigi are actually twins as one where they are separate siblings, since there have been reported cases of restricted growth occuring more than once in a single family unit and one of the two individuals usually being notably taller than the other.

This is something that had never crossed my mind before, but I think it would make sense. 👀

my favorite thing about having back and joint problems is that i can blame every unexplainable physical phenomenon on it. arm pain? spine. neck goes numb? spine. sore body part that didn't undergo a ton of previous stress? pulled it or what have you.

Having back problems is pretty much a never-ending cycle of shifting pillows around into a configuration that worked for two nights a month ago and hoping and praying that you'll be able to get to sleep some time before 3:00 and not be miserable in the morning.
