hiddenite: how much of an “inner child” my muse has

((You wouldn’t expect it…but so much.  So much inner child.  It just takes a lot of digging to get there, and even then, his more childish and playful side can be easily missed.  To get to this side of Sheath, he has to trust you, and that’s the thing, Sheath doesn’t trust anyone easily.

If someone is a person he trusts (and really, fat chance of that, but…) it can show in certain moments.

It comes out in teasing and playful bullying.  It can come out frequently when he gets excited about technology, plants, or diamonds and other precious stones and gems.  When he’s playing silly computer games (like Plants vs. Zombies, which is his favorite incidentally because you fight with a garden, and he’s a dork like that), watching one of his favorite comedies, sorting out one of his mind puzzles (mostly mazes) from the puzzle books he has, or getting a little to into his music while working on something are other times, it might be seen.

While Sheath would never let his guard down on a job even around someone he trusts, he does let his guard down while they’re at their rooms at HQ, and since Blade lives with him, Blade has seen the most of this.))

biotite: the biggest problems my muse is currently dealing with

((I always have a running timeline for these two going in my head that has nothing to to with RP or any of my threads.

In that head-timeline Sheath has been out-of-commission due to a broken arm he got while being shoved out the window by Blade as a bomb Blade sniffed out went off.  The force of the bomb propelled them both out faster than a normal fall and Sheath, being the first one out the window and the large, acted as something of a mattress.  While the drop was not from a significant height, the same force that propelled them made them hit hard and Sheath’s arm took the brunt of of his impact as well as Blade landing on top of him, leaving him with a broken arm.  Blade merely got a bit singed and had to cut his hair, which hs grumbled about, but he’s altogether fine.

However, and this is something I need to actually make in its own post, Sheath being in a non-operative status doesn’t mean Blade is.  If another Team needs his skillset to complete a job, or if the Company needs him to fill in a gap somewhere, he’ll essentially be commissioned out. 

Blade hates when this happens.  Not only does it throw him off as, by the nature of their partnership, Epsilon functions as a single unit, but Blade knows the lengths Sheath goes to to keep him safe and sane, and that kind of care wouldn’t be present in other Teams, especially those who really could care less about anything other than achieving their ends.  These jobs, without the safety net that is Sheath, can make him struggle in a lot of ways.))

   ─── ❝✶: To be frank, Kira had forgotten what this charity even was about. Only remembering it was a job to help raise funds of some kind for this school. When he did some research on this academy it caused a brow to rise. He briefly heard of this academy before but didn’t pay much attention to it. Either way, a job was a job.

   A job was a job as he was hired to sing for the event a song or two in the beginning and then two plus an encore at the end. Thankfully there was a large gap between now and then. It would give him time to rest his vocals as he felt his voice had become a little hoarse towards the end of the second song.

   He had gone backstage and opened a bottle of water and nearly downed half the contents. Ears had caught a sound as head turned and light gold eyes caught sight of a person. A slender brow raised. Not quite sure if certain students had authorization to come back here. Then again with the high requisites to get in perhaps most of the students well mannered. Then again...

   The cap was twisted back on the water bottle. ❝Do you have authorization?❞ Kira asked merely wishing for the student not to get in trouble if they didn’t.
