when drafting ONE what card do you hope to build around, if you've drafted

I won a draft with my Philly roommates in UR oil largely thanks to Urabrask's Forge! The card is a real powerhouse in Limited from my experience.

Looking at everything overall though? Big surprise, I'm a fan of Toxic, and Necrogen Rotpriest (plus its friend Bloated Contaminator) fills me with glee.

I’ve actually never worked at starbucks/similar. But. From what I hear, the experience is global. xD

I just wanted to write the “ive seen worse” joke, in light of the recent Red Cups Drama with starbucks & the mass enthusiasm for pumpkin spice :PMaybe my cameo will return just to fuel another joke, who knows.......

In terms of, like, buying lunch, how many crowns would that be? So as to get a scale of what the price of this info is?

The daily ½ sub at the sub shop is 25cr, but if it’s not the daily special the ½ sub sandwich is 50cr

I guess you could go to burger king and get a medium steakhouse with extra onionrings for 120cr if you were Hungry

A single person living on their own could, if taking advantage of bargains/”store brand” and buying only what they need to eat, do grocery shopping for a full week and then some with 400-500 crowns (or less if they get extra lucky with bargains :P)

I just started wondering, do you realize or see how friggin good your work is? Or are you more "oh it's alriight, i suppooooose" or whatever?

but a…complex question, in a way…

It’s difficult to answer without a gazillion justifiers and quantifiers and explanations but, hm.

It’s clear to me that there is a distinction between how I perceive my work and how you perceive my work, when measuring how “good” it is. Probably because of a little bit of “inside looking out” type of effect - it’s common in storytellers in general, I think, to feel like your work is not that great or that its predictable/dull/etc simply because you know the ins and outs of it so well and everything seems predictable because…you know everything? You aren’t the audience, and you don’t know how they’ll feel, but YOU feel like the work is kinda meh because you’ve been so close to it and looking at it for so long

I think Streetcrows is cool. I like it. I don’t think it’s ‘meh’, but as an insider looking out, I have trouble perceiving it as “amazing” or “great”, even though I know it’s not bad. The part I would call amazing is the reader input, your interactions with me and the comic, and all the things I gained from the work - but it’s really difficult to pinpoint my own view of the comic itself

It’s super hard to explain and this porbably doesn’t make much sense to you but….yknow. I love streetcrows. I think its super cool (not to mention fun to make!). But I don’t see the same wonder and amazement some of you guys see, because it’s all very familiar from my end and it’s jsut “yeah this is what i do i guess”
