this is actually a rewatch for me so i already know my fave characters! rue is my ultimate girl i love her sm. she is so interesting and witty and a great balance of sweet and fierce and bitchy and adorable. i find myself relating to her in a lot of ways, like sometimes she just says things about life or depression etc that it’s just like.... yes! yes exactly. zendaya protrays her perfectly and makes her so raw and layered and real and you just want to hold her and protect her and become very invested in her well being.
other than rue basically all my faves are like The Rue Stans. i loveeeeee jules sm like sometimes she makes choices that make me scream but they literally all do and she is just so .... She’s Light, and she’s an amazing friend that is getting too much shit she doesn’t deserve and she is resilient and i have loved seeing her journey with her sexuality and gender identity and the intricacies of that. and she is such a bad ass bitch and i love how carefree she is. Rue and Jules just.... oof i love them sm. so so much. i love fezco bc hes so funny and caring and it’s like. I Know Fezco, i went to school with him, i’ve talked to him at parties, etc y’know? and i like lexi a lot shes the most down to earth character thats relatable and im soooo interested in what her ep will be i really want to explore more about her and cassie’s mom and also her sexuality and friendship with rue etc.
other than them i’m enjoying cassie more this time around, i always liked her but i wasn’t as invested but now rewatching with all the context im liking her a lot more.
