30 Days of Character Development: Day 1
Basics and cosmetic:
Age? 33 Date of Birth? February 2nd, 1982 Hair color? Blonde Eye color? Blue Skin color/nationality? Pale/Peachy; French/Jewish Accent (if any)? None Height? 5'7" (170 cm) Weight? 130lbs (59 kilos) Tattoos? None Piercings? Ears, Bellybutton Birthmarks? None Disfigurements? None Scars? One under her right ribs, which she got from having an appendectomy at the age of 12, after her appendix ruptured.
A second one is a thick scar along her right scapula that she got at 17, when she fell through a glass table and a shard sliced her back. Do they have any nicknames? Where did they come from? Some people shortened her name to Marls, or Mar-- most notably her last ex Chris. They were more pet names, or intimate names, and she preferred friends and colleagues alike to call her by her full name.
Her mother used to call her MJ, as her middle name is Josephine, but Marley hated it when she did that because she understood she was only called that because it allowed her mother to think of her deceased sister Josephine.
One of the officers that she worked closely with at the NYPD precinct, Sullivan James, used to call her "Spritzer" (as in a drink spritzer), and although she always rolled her eyes at him, she kinda liked the name.
