Who are some of your favourite connections/skeletons?
Oh, I was so not prepared for this question!!! So the Mars &Tinman connection was the first one that I started writing - they’re a complicated pair, because they used to want to same things. Maybe they still do, but they certainly have different views on how to get there.
I would be lying if I wasn’t a sucker for the Rabbit & Psyche connection, since I’ll be taking Rabbit. They’ve known each other for a long time, and Rabbit is uncharacteristically protective of Psyche, who is someone still trying to find their place in this world.
Then there’s Reaper & Dinah... and honestly my heart breaks a little for Reaper. Immortality is not always a blessing and they’ve learned that lesson, bitterly so. And Dinah is both a reminder of and respite from that fate and they’re a pair I’m really, really looking forward to being developed.
Lastly, Sunglow & Moonbeam - siblings at odds, secretly envious of what the other has. I’m very excited for these two especially given that they’re somewhat in positions of power within Metropolis, but they’re still two young people who are trying to find the meaning in their lives, all the while seeing each other both as companion and competition.
