What were you doing last night?: Drinking tea and eating mini pumpkin cheesecakes with my favorite cousin and her girlfriend.
Name something you cannot wait for: When I get to see my friends again once we all get back from the holidays and interviews and are finally in the same city at the same time!

What’s getting on your nerves rn?: We haven’t eaten yet today and I’m gettin’ hangry. I need to feed.
Blood type: I was told once by my dad that it was O-, which could be cool because, you know, universal donor. But I don’t know.
Nickname: My name doesn’t naturally lend itself to a nickname. Sometimes it’s just my last name. Also I’ve been called “smol lion” and “little lion” and “all good lions” because of the obvious.
Relationship status: Quite single. Aggressively single. Painfully single.
Favorite tv show: I don’t have a favorite really.

Hair colour: Brown with a little bit of gold in the sun and also many silvery hairs because I am about 80
Long or short: It’s very curly, so it doesn’t touch my shoulders when dry, but wet it comes to about that length. So. Short.
Do you have a crush on someone: [noncommittal noise] Probably not. Unclear.
What do you like about yourself: I try to do the right thing, whatever that means.
First surgery: Orthopedic repair of a spiral fracture of my left fibula.
First best friend: A girl named Ariel in pre-school. I remember she had curiously small teeth.
First sport you joined: Fencing! I was pretty good.
First vacation: Summer in Cape Cod. It was an annual family thing.
First pair of sneakers: Um. I went through a Vans phase, when I was very young, I think.
Eating: I could not begin to tell you the first thing I ate. Introduction of solids is usually around 6 months of age! I wasn’t forming any concrete memories then. My first spicy food was a spicy Indian chicken dish that my mom had made for a party. She had made much milder (read: boring) fare for the kids, but I asked for a piece of spicy chicken and thus began my love affair with spicy food and with Indian cuisine.
Drinking: I just had a cocktail that was bourbon, fresh lemon, mint, simple syrup and apricot syrup. Pretty good! But not as spirit-forward as I might prefer.
I’m about to: finish these questions and go to sleep! I have to get up at 3:30 AM to catch a plane home.

Career: Pediatrician and then some sort of subspecialty. Maybe child abuse peds, but who knows.

Troublemaker or hesitant: Troublemaker. But a gentle kind of trouble. I think I’m more hesitant and there is something to be said for balance.

Broken someone’s heart: Other way around.
Fallen for a friend: To my detriment.
In yourself: Often, but not always.
Love at first sight: I believe in seeing somebody -- I mean really seeing them for the first time in a way that begins to fill in the outside edges of love. But love striking like lightning from a clear blue sky? Probably not.
