Scenario: Their signs aren't compatible sksksksk
Every time Midorima checks your sign's compatibility with Cancer, it's always ranked the lowest
Especially on the relationship aspect
It just...doesn't work out
It didn't help that whenever you attended Midorima's games to support him (and your school's team; school spirit, amirite?)

Although you've claimed and said to Midorima that whenever you attended your school's game in the past, they lose
You said that you don't even watch the broadcasted games anymore for fear of jinxing your team

And when you make up an excuse to not attend, he'd be sad

Every time each match starts, he'd always know what's troubling you

And you'd always be there on his games
To support him and give him kisses before the match starts
And somehow, on one game where they were behind by a point
Midorima gets the ball and scores a three

Cause even if you were there--a self-professed harbinger of bad luck (just on the games though), they freaking won
Midorima would approach you--cause you were seated just behind the team's bench

Anywhooo, that's one thing you both overcame
But there's still the matter of your sign's compatibility
So you'd bring that up one day when he's checking both your signs again
And if it's not the lowest, it's still pretty low
Knowing that he's such a stickler for this, you'd voice your concern
Afraid that he'd break up with you over something like this
"Fuck Oha Asa. I'll make our signs compatible."

But because he loves you so much, he'd compensate the lack of compatibility of your signs
