★ How long had it been since they last met with one another { for work-reasons only? undoubtfully? }, countless days and nights have gone by. Fates entangling, changing, shifting what they once were and what they had now become. Even without truly knowing the extent of the alchemist's nature, the ex-soldier was aware that the other man wasn't quite human anymore { or at all? }. Delighted, if he were to be honest, in watching the other approach with picture-perfect purity of white clashing starkly with the deep corruption of long hair. It's always just an amusing visual effect { and knowing the other man's husband? knowing what he was was, would Sephiroth truly question? }.

★ Enough of that when he rises to a stand. When he extends a hand in greeting, knowing well that markings engraved upon palm could be the undoing for so many unworthy ones.

★ But had they not long ago found an understanding in each other? Even before his own mind desired nought else but the disasters and calamities of the worlds? How laughable. But smile just is all that he does. "Quite a long while ago, that we were able to meet." With their selves and beings now totally and absolutely turned inside out - was it not like meeting for the first time ever? "Pleasant, to do so outside of mere business arrangements." For both, the backgrounds of their organisations were not anymore { destroyed? eradicated? brought to ruin? }. "Go for a walk with me~?
