i always imagined that gideon and ianthe were given the titles of "prince" because once jod resurrected gideon's corpse and realized his original saints were all dead, he created this over-dramatic coronation ceremony for his long lost daughter, gave her the same phalange-crown he wears, and named her the Tower Prince. and ianthe said ok what am i then. i'm your last remaining saint and i saved YOU from death i should have a cool title. and jod was too tired so he said fine you are both tower princes.
