Maybe Lance wasn’t the first choice of someone to go with in this situation, but it wasn’t up to him. He’d drawn the other and he couldn’t quite figure out if it was a short straw or a decent way to go. There wasn’t anything dreadful between the two of them so he could have been locked with someone worse. He could have been shut here with someone who hated him.

After a few seconds of sitting in the almost meditative silence and hearing the titters of everyone else outside of the door as they wondered what they would do, an idea crossed his mind. It was a pretty good idea if he said so himself.

“Lance,” he whispered, turning to where he was pretty sure the other was. “I have an idea.” He grinned even though the other couldn’t see it and let out a loud, forced moan, hearing everyone outside fall quiet. He hoped the other would cotton on that this was his idea and go along with it. It would be more fun if he played along.
