In Scotland common law they also have three verdicts a trial can go, obviously there “not guilty,” which yeah but then you get “Proven” and…”Not Proven,” which is is sorta like not guilty but in a “we can’t prove you did what you are on trial for but like we sorta have a understanding you MAY have done it, so like don’t do it again.”
Which I think is wild, but also interesting. Honestly Hyde and Jekyll arguing about British Common Law vs Scottish Common Law….I understand for logistic reasons why we don’t get Scottish Hyde and Jekyll mind discussions but I personally think it would be funny to see the two of them discuss politics in their homeland and England and the differences. I wonder if Henry ever got homesick at first, or if he ever does. We have very little context towards his home life compared to the other three main characters. I like to think it’s positive to neutral, so you have any dispositions any which way? 
Jekyll gets to have culture shock about the laws in England then!
I don't know whether Jekyll got homesick or not, I suppose it depends on his life at home and whether he was happy there. He could have been homesick but there's also a possibility that he's just happy wherever the books are like a duck wherever there's a pond - "Unfamiliar area? Is there a library? Yes? Then that's all that matters."
But, then again, he has moved to a place where nobody understands his accent. He's gone from being normal to getting odd looks whenever he opens his mouth. It must be kind of frustrating when nobody understands you.
