hyperfixations and special interests are all fun and games until you’re literally spending every waking moment itching to look into more content relating to it and you can’t sleep because it’s all you can think about and you’re basing everything you make off of the game and every assignment you turn in has some hidden reference to the game and you can’t focus because everything you think about somehow relates to your special interest and sends you down a mindless rabbit hole where you literally cannot bring yourself to do anything unless it relates to your interest
