#i hate professors

I just went and did an exam and the professor looked at me and said "you didn't review everything well" and I was left speechless cause she went and asked the only thing that I didn't check at all. Like I did that back in October and never looked again.

I feel like a fraud. What a call out and then I mentioned I have to do another exam with her and I think I'm maybe very very fucked. What a bad impression I left orz

You know that feeling you get when you ask a professor who said that you were the most hard working student they’ve ever had for a letter of recommendation but they say no? Yeah that feeling sucks.

I am so fucking sick of all these crusty old men on my course being snarky and superior and expecting us to run around them and fit our timetables to their every whim, and apologise for their mistakes

like I love science and I want to be actively interested in studying it but by god the academics at my university make it fucking difficult

I emailed this woman from my gmail so my name (Sahara) is at the top of the email, the first sentence of the email is "Hello my name is Sahara..." and then I end the email saying "Thank you, Sahara J." ... Why the hell she email me back starting with "Hi Sarah"

it enrages me so much when people write my name wrong in emails. LIKE FOR FUCKS SAKES YOU HAVE A FUCKING PHD, LEARN HOW TO READ PROPERLY AND GET MY NAME RIGHT. ITS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE DAMN EMAIL. YOU COULD BECOME A DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY BUT YOU CAN’T SPELL JESSIE WITH A DAMN “I” !?!!?!?!?
