Told off a first year for selling MLM probiotics that “cure anxiety” and I’m not even sorry
Especially because she asked me what my problem was and I told her that there were no scientific studies performed by the company regarding the efficacy or even the consistency of their product and she said “I don’t need scientific studies, they work for me and my friends.” She literally could not see the irony when I told her that was the attitude of anti-vaxxers and she said “Oh I know vaccines don’t cause autism, that’s been proven” lolol.
I blocked her on FB messenger but not on FB because that would be awkward. From now on, anytime I see her posting about the “miracle benefits” of the product, I’m going to post an informational article or YouTube video to my own profile about how probiotics do very little to nothing unless you have a pre-existing deficit, about how unregulated and inconsistent the supplement industry is, and any news pieces I can find of people getting sick from MLM products/how MLM companies bankrupt their promoters. #sorrynotsorry 🤷
