what's it about? what genre is it? what age range is it written for? I'm glad you asked!

it has a protagonist who ticks off this many marginalized demographics

they fall in love with a deuteragonist who ticks off these other demographics

it has side characters who fulfill more demographics

the bad guy is a white man

it explores serious topics like imperialism or addiction. this topic is either preachy and poorly handled or such a stretch that a person could read the book cover to cover and never pick up on it, there is no in between.

obviously this is all the information needed to determine if you would be interested in the book!
