That last scene from Volume Two was honestly something straight out of a horror movie. I can't fathom the amount of trauma Holly is going to be haunted with for the rest of her life. It's not just the trauma of getting kidnapped, essentially being watched for a long time without her realizing, being groomed into believing this monster, now she has to live with the memory of the kids, some of them her best friends, riling up against her to fight her and causing her literal pain for trying to run away. Her head is literally bleeding. She looks immobilized and severely traumatized. In the end they're all just kids who were manipulated into reacting that way, but she'll have to live with that memory for the rest of her life. She looks devoid of hope, and watching a child experience that was horrifying. Hearing the crack in all of their necks as their head snapped back was terrifying ngl. The mob mentality those kids adapted was honestly extremely unnerving because Henry really did manipulate them completely, and Holly, poor little Holly had to face the backlash from it all.
